Antimicrobial drug resistance (AMR) is an increasing global health problem. National and international bodies perceive new antimicrobial drug development as a priority. Co-sponsored by the European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), 2022 ESCMID/ASM Joint Conference on Drug Development to Meet the Challenge of Antimicrobial Resistance will take place in Dublin, Ireland, 4-7 October 2022.
