Venue

The SFP/SFMM Joint Meeting will be hosted by the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, at the University of Rouen, Normandy, France.

Aim

The meeting is expected to disclose most recent findings on epidemiology, physiopathology, updates on diagnostic methods and therapeutic options for managing clinical and public health issues of parasitic and fungal infections ensuring a One Health approach. We look forward to presenting the current state of knowledge in the field of parasitic and fungal diseases from basic research to clinical developments, including veterinary medicine.

Organizers

The local committee is delighted to organize the SFP/SFMM joint meeting on behalf of the French society of parasitology and the French society of medical mycology.

Program overview

Parasitology, medical entomology and mycology topics will range from fundamental research to diagnosis, therapy and prophylaxis. Leading international experts will give keynote lectures. All topics will be covered and discussed in the form of oral and poster presentation sessions. Based on the attendance of previous editions of SFP/SFMM, joint meeting, scientific experts from clinical laboratories, specialists from various disciplines of human and veterinary medicine (gastroenterology, pediatrics, infectious and tropical medicine…) will be present. Senior practitioners and researchers, young professionals and students, with a particular interest in medical parasitology, entomology, mycology are expected to participate and discuss results and the impact on clinical and laboratory practice.
