LS2 Annual Meeting 2026

The LS2 Annual Meeting 2026 “Fueling life across scales” chaired by Prof. Tatjana Kleele (ETHZ) and Prof. Alexis Jourdain (UNIL) will take place at Irchel Campus, UZH, from 11th to 12th of February 2026.

 
Call for applications to the

                                                                                      “PIs of tomorrow: The Future of Swiss Research”

session at the LS2 Annual Meeting 2026 which will be held in Zurich 11-12 February 2026. Please encourage your postdocs to apply to this great opportunity.

This session offers an opportunity to present a plenary talk similar in format to a professorship interview seminar or a big-grant interview panel. A knowledgeable jury panel of professors will evaluate the presentations.

The best presentations will be awarded prizes by the jury and the public and all presenters in the session will receive feedback from the jury in a one-on-one private session afterwards. Moreover, as a participant in the LS2 Annual Meeting 2026, you will have the opportunity to expand or refresh your network in Switzerland via interaction with scientists in and outside your field, in a highly multidisciplinary conference.

Applicants must have ties to Switzerland will be considered (i.e. Swiss citizenship, Swiss residency, past or on-going affiliation with a Swiss institution of at least two years by the 2026 meeting). Permanent position holders are not eligible.
