This technology will have a profound impact on routine microbiological diagnostics and management of infectious diseases in the near future. The symposium aims to cover some of the key applications in epidemiological typing and detection of virulence factors and antibiotic resistance. In a series of short talks leading experts from UK, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal and Switzerland will share their experience with this new technology. There is also plenty of room for discussion during lunch and coffee breaks.
